Cement Production Plants

Our Cementos Moctezuma® division has three cement production plants with leading edge technology; they are strategically located to serve 95% of the country, and they are located in : Tepetzingo, Morelos; Cerritos, San Luis Potosí; and Apazapan, Veracruz.

All the products we manufacture in Cementos Moctezuma® exceed the specifications of the applicable standards, issued by the National Agency for Standardization and Certification of Construction and Building known as ONNCCE.

Besides having the most innovative technology, we consume the least amount of electric power as part of the commitment to respect and care we have for the environment.

Tepetzingo Plant

In 1997, we began a new era for Cementos Moctezuma® with the opening of the Tepetzingo, Morelos Plant; It has two production lines that provide us with a capacity greater than 2.5 million tons of cement per year.

With Tepetzingo Plant we serve the Central and South markets of the country. The states of: Morelos, Hidalgo, Guerrero, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Oaxaca, State of Mexico and Mexico City.

Cerritos Plant

Our second plant, opened in 2004, has two production lines and a capacity of more than 2.7 million tons of cement per year.

With Planta Cerritos we serve the markets of the Bajío, West and North of the country. The states of: Michoacán, Querétaro, Guanajuato, Aguascalientes, Zacatecas, Jalisco, Durango, Sonora, Sinaloa, Colima, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Coahuila, Tamaulipas and, of course, the state of San Luis Potosí.

Apazapan Plant

For 2010, we opened plant Apazapan, Veracruz; Our most modern plant, which also has two production lines that allows it to reach a production capacity of more than 2.7 million tons of cement per year.

With Planta Apazapan we serve the markets of the south, southeast and the peninsula. The states of: Yucatan, Quintana Roo, Campeche, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Tabasco and, of course, the state of Veracruz.
