Guided Tours for Groups

If you are interested in getting to know the manufacturing process of Cementos Moctezuma® in any of the three producing plants located in: Tepetzingo, Mor.; Cerritos, S.L.P. and Apazapan, Ver.

In Cementos Moctezuma® we have guided visits for groups of less than 40 people, conducted by highly qualified personnel, who can give an appropriate approach according to the profile of the visitors (master builders, students, businessmen).

Security Recommendations During the Visit to the Plant:

  • Wear jeans, long sleeve shirt, and no sandals
  • Security helmets will be provided to all the visitors, they should be worn at all times during the visit, no exceptions made
  • Do not leave the group at any moment
  • Always attend to the directions of the host
  • Only one camera per group will be allowed, which can only be used when the host indicates it

1. What do I have to do to visit a Cementos Moctezuma® plant?

Make your pre-registration. Within 72 hours, you will receive an email from Moctezuma‘s visitor manager requesting information or confirming the date. All pre-registrations are subjected to availability of the Plant and Personal.

3. How long is the visit?

It lasts around 5 hours and it includes:

  • Welcome and an introduction of Corporación Moctezuma® and the cement manufacturing process.
  • Tour of the plant in the following areas: Control Room, Quality Control, Quarry, Glory Hole Tunnel, Pre-homogenization limestone and clay yards, Gama-Metrics analyzer, Horomil mills, pre-heaters, Rotatory Ovens, Cement mills, and Packing process. The visits to different areas of the plant can be changed without previous notice.
  • Survey filling and comments.
4. How much time in advance do I have to book a visit?

It is recommended to book it a month in advance. You will be offered dates according to availability.

5. What is the maximum number of people per group to make a visit?

A maximum of 40 people per visit is accepted. If the group is bigger, it has to be programmed in several dates.

6. What is the minimum age to visit Cementos Moctezuma® plants?

18 years old. Under no circumstances any under age will be allowed in our facilities.

7. How should I dress in a visit?

All visitors should wear jeans, long sleeve shirt and shoes, no sandals. For security reasons access will not be granted to people wearing shorts, sneakers nor high heels, in case of women.

8. Can we take pictures or record videos during the visit?

You can only take pictures during the visit (no videos). Only one camera per group will be allowed, and it has to be managed by the host of the group, since pictures can't be taken in some parts of the plant.

9. What do I need to do to change a visit that has already been booked?

You have to call the Coordinator two weeks in advance to reschedule or cancel it.

All the dates shown are tentative and subjected to availability at the Plant.
Make the pre-registration by selecting the date, it is important that they match.
You will receive an email from Moctezuma‘s visitor manager requesting more information,
documentation or confirmation.
