We have several accreditations that guarantee the excellence and quality that can be found in our processes.
Quality Management System Certification (ISO 9001) in Concretos Moctezuma®
In Concretos Moctezuma® we have a Quality Management System that complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 (NMX-C-9001-IMNC-2015), in the design, production, transportation, and delivery processes of ready-mixed hydraulic concrete.
We obtained the certification in 2000 and has been held until today; this adds value to the well-known service of excellence we provide to our customers. The plants which are currently certified are: Central, Vallejo, Huixquilucan, Coacalco, Iztapalapa, Xalostoc, Los Reyes, Atizapan, Lerma, Eulalia Guzman, Naucalpan, Toluca, Tepetzingo, Puebla, Leon, Balvanera, API Veracruz, Cuautla, Teoloyucan, Tehuacan, Veracruz, Altamira, Irapuato, Queretaro, Tlaquepaque, Zapopan and San Agustin.
Accreditation of the Test Laboratory for concretes
In February 2007, in Concretos Moctezuma® we received an accreditation for our Quality Control Laboratory in six test methods for fresh and hardened concrete.
Currently, Moctezuma Concrete Testing Laboratories have been accredited by the Mexican Accreditation Entity (EMA) for compliance with the requirements of the NMX-EC-17025-IMNC-2018 Standard, demonstrating once again their competence to issue reliable results.Accreditation of the Calibration Laboratory
In Moctezuma Concrete we know that one of the most important measuring equipment in the ready-mix concrete business is the press, equipment with which we measure the resistance of the concrete delivered to each of our clients in order to generate confidence in them about the product They are acquiring for their works.
That is why we have a laboratory specialized in calibration, which is accredited by the Mexican Accreditation Entity under the requirements established in ISO-EC-17025-IMNC-2018 in the range of 5kN to 1MN.
Comprehensive Management System Certification
The implementation of a Comprehensive Management System in our organization brings great benefits, which are focused on the safety and health of our employees, the quality of our processes, and caring for the environment.
Nowadays, all our Cementos Moctezuma® S.A. de C.V. plants (Tepetzingo, Apazapan and Cerritos) have a Certified Comprehensive Management System:

We manufacture products certified by the National Organization for Standardization and Certification of Construction and Building (ONNCCE), which confirms the compliance with the NMX-C-414-ONNCCE-2014 standard Construction industry - Hydraulic cements - Specifications and test methods.

Quality Control Laboratory Accreditation
Currently at Cementos Moctezuma® we have a laboratory accredited by the Mexican Accreditation Entity (EMA), guaranteeing our clients that the results of cement performance are reliable.
Quality Control Laboratory
This accreditation ensures the laboratory technical competence by demonstrating compliance with the guidelines of the NMX-EC-17025-IMNC-2006 standard.

Environmental recognitions by the authorities
We have constantly been concerned with carrying out their operations in a clean way and with a minimum environmental impact, thanks to which, throughout our history, we have received various recognitions, including the following:
1999 - Low Power Consumption
On behalf of the CFE, in 1999 we received an award for maintaining low power consumption. This is possible thanks to the investments made that allow them to have the most advanced machinery, which is reflected in optimal energy consumption.
2004 - Environmental Excellence
In 2004 our Tepetzingo plant obtained the recognition of Environmental Excellence.
2008 - Electric Energy Saving
The State of Morelos awarded our Tepetzingo plant with the State Prize for Electric Energy Saving in 2008.
2010 - Environmental Performance
Our Cerritos plant obtained the recognition of Environmental Performance 2010 by the PROFEPA.
LEED Certification
The central concrete plant obtained the LEED certification, being the first concrete plant in the world to obtain it.
Green Seal
Excited about contributing to the construction of a better country and aware of its environmental needs, we have shown our commitment to reducing the environmental footprint through an environmental self-regulation program that has been recognized by SEDEMA, an entity that in the 2018 granted the Green Seal certification to our Central, Eulalia Guzmán and Vallejo plants, which obtained satisfactory results in the Sustainable Environmental Audit Program, confirming the correct definition and execution of strategies that allow us to prevent environmental impacts favoring within our Organization of a culture oriented towards the care of our community and the environment.
